PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method with which a high-quality solid electrolytic capacitor improved in thermal stability is obtained. SOLUTION: The element of a solid electrolytic capacitor is chemically treated and burnt to a capacitor 1 by rolling anode formation foil 2 equipped with an anode side tab terminal 3 for anode pull-out and a counter cathode foil 4 equipped with a cathode side tab terminal 5 for cathode lead-out via a separator paper 6. The capacitor 1 is impregnated with a monomer solution to dry and evaporate the monomer solvent, and is next impregnated with an oxidizing agent for the chemical polymerizing reaction of the monomer and the oxidizing agent, such that a solid electrolytic layer 7 composed of a conductive polymer is formed. The capacitor 1 with which the chemical polymerizing reaction occurs is left in a high temperature of 180-210°C to remove an impurity composed of moisture, a non-reacting monomer, a non-reacting oxidizing agent and the like contained in the capacitor 1 of the chemical polymerizing reaction, such that the solid electrolytic capacitor improved in thermal stability is obtained.
