SEALING MEMBER FOR CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing member for a connector for flexibly connecting a sealing main body and an electric wire holding part. SOLUTION: This sealing member is molded from synthetic rubber. A cylindrical electric wire holding part 23 with a reduced outer diameter is installed on a side part of the cylindrical sealing main body 22. A through hole 25 to insert an electric wire is provided at a center part of the sealing main body 22 and the electric wire holding part 23. Waveform parts 26 and 27 are formed on an outer periphery of the sealing main body 22 and an inner periphery of the through hole 25. An annular groove 28 cut in a radial direction is provided at a boundary part of the sealing main body 22 and the electric wire holding part 23. Even when eccentricity of the sealing main body 22 is obliged from a positional relation of the connection terminal 8, the sealing main body 22 is bendable for the electric wire holding part 23 because of the existence of the annular groove 28, and the sealing main body 22 can be located at a substantial center of the sealing member holding hole 5a of the housing.
