<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a memory card of which the size is reduced by reducing the width of a case. <P>SOLUTION: In the connector 11 for memory cards, which is so constructed that two long and short memory cards can be separately and freely inserted in and taken out from an insertion opening 21 by a push-in/push-out mechanism, a slider 15 equipped with a push-in/push-out mechanism sliding together with the long memory card in engagement with such a memory card, and a sliding member 16 sliding in engagement with the short memory card is provided are provided, and the sliding member 16 is formed so as to freely engage with the slider 15 and serve concurrently as the push-in/push-out mechanism of the slider 15 when the short memory card is inserted or taken out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
