PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tea vending machine which brews tea by pouring hot water onto tea leaves every time a purchaser purchases the tea. SOLUTION: The vending machine has many teapot/cup sets (3) each comprising a teapot (3a) of which both vertical ends are opened and the lower end opening has a filtration part (13) is detachably fitted to a cup (3b); a setting means (5) for placing one teapot/cup set to a predetermined position; many tea bags (7) containing the tea leaves; a tea bag putting-in means (9) for putting one tea bag into a teapot of the teapot/cup set; and a hot water pouring-in means (11) for pouring hot water into the teapot. Then, when a purchaser performs starting operation, the setting means places one teapot/cup set to the predetermined position, the tea bag putting-in means puts one tea bag into a teapot of the teapot/cup set, and subsequently the hot water pouring-in means pours hot water into the teapot.
