PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network device control apparatus whereby network devices are controlled by network management software generated by one program independently of device models, and also to provide a network device control method and a program for realizing the control method. SOLUTION: The network device control method includes: steps S4 to S6 of changing setting of devices on a network and thereafter discriminating whether or not remote reset is available; and a step S7 of applying remote reset when the remote reset is available and displaying a message to urge re-application of a power supply when the remote reset is disabled.
