<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home agent apparatus which is equipped with a plurality of notice processing modules, a management memory, and a management part controlling the memory, and a packet separation part distributing packets to the notice processing modules and automatically re-sets communication, when the contents of a memory in a notice processing module for storing information on correspondence between IP addresses and notice IP addresses of accommodated mobile terminals are vanished owing to a fault etc. <P>SOLUTION: If a notice processing module gets out of order, the management part recognizes the number of the notice processing modules having got out of order, copies the same memory contents that the faulty notice processing module has to another normal notice processing module from the management memory, and updates the contents of the management memory concerned with the faulty notice processing module to secure communication without using the faulty notice processing module. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
