<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a staircase stringer which is excellent in workability and in finished appearance after construction of the staircase, and to provide a staircase using the side plate. <P>SOLUTION: The staircase stringer 1 has a thickness of 10 to 40 mm, and an almost parallelogrammed or triangular plate shape, and is applicable to the staircase 2 having its treadboard horizontally protruding from its rise. The staircase side plate 1 mounted at each side edge of the staircase 2, has cutaway recesses 10 formed therein. Each cutaway recess 10 has a treadboard fitting portion 101 into which a treadboard protrusion 211 is fitted, at a location corresponding to a treadboard edge abutting portion, and a wedge fitting portion 102 below the treadboard fitting portion 101. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
