PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which enables display of details in-focus condition at all points of multipoints, and an in-focus frame indication easy to view. SOLUTION: The apparatus has a display means 28, which has one or more distance measuring points which is possible to measure distance to an object, and can display corresponding to the measuring points. A control means 50 measures at all points of the distance measuring points, selects an in-focus point from among the distance measuring points, based on the distance measuring result, and displays the in-focus in the display means 28. The distance-measuring point which has the same distance measuring result to the in-focus point, is also displayed in the display means 28.
