PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist removing device which is reduced in size and does not require frequent maintenance, and also to provide an air cleaning device which does not require arrangement of a duct to a scrubber. SOLUTION: An air flow path in the mist removing device 1 has an inertial collision member 11 to remove mist by collision of air with the mist, a spraying means 12 for spraying liquids such as water, liquid agent, catalyst in air and collecting mist, and filters 13, 14 to filter air to remove the mist. The mist removing device 1 is configured to separate the mist centrifugally while air is flowing and whirling along a cylindrical inner wall within a cylinder. Accordingly, the mist removing device 1 removes and recover the mist and gas in air and exhausts air which scarcely contains the mist and gas, thus arrangement of the duct to the scrubber or the like is not required.
