PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium for detection of the target microbes in a liquified environmental or biological sample in less than 24 hours. SOLUTION: The target microbe-specific medium operable to allow viability and reproduction of the target microbe are obtained by comprising an effective amount of vitamin, amino acid, minor elements and salt ingredients. And the invention relates to use of sodium pyruvate to assist recovery of metabolically injured bacteria, use of thermal equilibrium period, use of a small amount of sodium chloride, offers a proper amount of other metabolite and a compound generating a specific detectable signal.
