<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving object imaging apparatus capable of calculating a moving direction or a moving speed from an image of a moving object which is picked up by a non-storing type CMOS camera. <P>SOLUTION: This moving object imaging apparatus is provided with the non-storing type CMOS camera 1 and an image processor 2. The camera 1 picks up the image of the moving object and transmits the picked-up image to the processor 2. The processor 2 receives the image from the camera 1, extracts distortion in part of the image of the moving object, and calculates the moving direction and moving speed of the moving object 3 from the direction and the distortion amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
