PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a car from pitching in such a manner that a kick part of a front side member bends in the latter half of a collision time when a vehicle collides headon. SOLUTION: The upper rear ends 14A of the kick parts 14 in the right and left front side members 12 are connected with a closed cross-sectional structure 30 which is formed of a dash cross member 24 and a dash panel 26, and extends in the car width direction. At the same time, the closed cross-sectional structure 30 is extended upward behind a spring suspension tower 18, and combined with an apron upper member 16. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
