PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device having a self-diagnosis function for diagnosing whether or not a test module which processes analog signals is out of order. SOLUTION: This electronic device has a first module, a test module, a second module, and a control unit. The first module outputs an analog test signal. The analog test signal is input to the test signal, and the test module processes it and outputs an analog output signal. The analog output signal is input to the second module. The second module performs its analog-to-digital conversion, and outputs a first digital output signal. The control unit stores a second digital output signal the same as a signal to be obtained by analog-to-digital converting an analog output signal which the test module being normal, outputs by inputting and processing the analog test signal, compares the first digital output signal with the second digital output signal, self-diagnoses that the test module is out of order if there is a difference exceeding a predetermined range between both of them, and outputs that information.
