PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing suiting usage under a high temperature and high speed environment capable of sufficiently securing strength of a cage while securing a wide interior space of the rolling bearing and avoiding reduction of a rated load. SOLUTION: In the rolling bearing 10, a plurality of balls 13 are held between an outer ring 11 and an inner ring 12 via a crown type cage 14 so that they can roll in a circumferential direction, a diametral thickness of the cage 14 is 40-45% of a diameter D of the ball 13, and/or an axial thickness of a bottom of a pocket part 14c of the cage 14 is 12-20% of the diameter D of the ball 13.
