PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize the discharge amount of the ink from the nozzle of a liquid discharge head.

SOLUTION: A liquid discharge apparatus is constituted so as to discharge a liquid to a medium by the liquid discharge head having a plurality of nozzles for discharging a liquid and has a discharge amount varying part 304 capable of individually varying the liquid discharge amounts from a plurality of the nozzles of the liquid discharge head with respect to a plurality of nozzles. The discharge amount varying part includes a voltage control circuit 313 capable of altering the drive voltage value of drive pulses supplied to a plurality of the nozzles.
