PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving controller which improve the resolution of a driving device by obtaining a motor clock whose High and Low periods are different. SOLUTION: Period data of a clock controlling a stepping motor are stored in an information storage part (RAM) A counter part obtains the period data stored in the information storage part (RAM) and counts up to the number of the period data. Then the counter part outputs a signal (ripple carry-out) when the counting based upon the period data is completed. A control part switches High and Low by using a signal outputted from the counter part. Consequently, the motor clock whose periods of High and Low are different is obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
