NOVEL PROTEINS AND DNAS ENCODING THE SAME

It is intended to analyze the base sequences of cDNA clones contained in a full length cDNA library, analyze and identify the physiological activities of proteins encoded by cDNAs having a novel sequence as a full length sequence containing a splicing variant from among the cDNA clones as described above, and propose a method of utilizing these proteins and DNAs encoding the same based on the physiological activities. Namely, the following protein (a) or (b) is provided. (a) A protein having an amino acid sequence represented by any of SEQ ID NOS:6 to 10. (b) A protein having an amino acid sequence derived from any of the amino acid sequences represented by SEQ ID NOS:6 to 10 by deletion, substitution and/or addition of one to several amino acids and having a kinase activity.
