The device has at least one electric load, e.g. a motor, with an associated noise suppression filter with a suppression capacitor between mains connection lines and a communications device for communications with other components via the supply network using signals of at least one frequency. A coupling point for the signals provided at the suppression filter is arranged immediately on the mains side of the suppression capacitor. The device is able to be connected via a mains connection to a voltage supply network, e.g. of 50 Hz, and contains at least one electric load, e.g. a motor, with an associated noise suppression filter (12), especially a radio noise filter, with a suppression capacitor (19) between mains connection lines and a communications device for communications with other components via the supply network using signals of at least one frequency. A coupling point (25) for the signals provided at the suppression filter is arranged immediately on the mains side of the suppression capacitor. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a noise filter for an inventive domestic device.
