<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode mix of improving application precision and a battery formed using it. <P>SOLUTION: A positive electrode combined agent layer 21b is formed by applying an electrode paste containing an electrode material of a positive electrode 21, a binder and a dispersion medium to a positive electrode mix 21a. A negative electrode combined agent layer 22b is formed by applying an electrode paste containing an electrode material of a negative electrode 22, a binder and a dispersion medium to a negative electrode current collector 22a. Electrode paste is adjusted so that a flow curve with a shear rate in the range of 0-1000 [s<SP>-1</SP>] is approximated to a flow equation expressed by S=mD<SP>n</SP>(where S is shearing stress, D is a shear rate, m is a coefficient and n is a non-Newton viscosity index) with a correlation coefficient of 0.95 or more. Thereby, application precision is improved and the thickness precision of an electrode is improved.
