<p>The invention relates to a Stirling engine that comprises: a displacer unit (2) having displacer cylinders (21 a, b), displacers (22 a, b) slidably arranged in the chambers of the displacer cylinders (21 a, b), expansion chambers and contraction chambers into which, and from which, the operation gas flows with the operation of the displacers (22 a, b); and a power piston unit (3) having a power cylinder (31) having an operation chamber communicated with either the expansion chamber or the contraction chamber of the displacer unit (2), and a power piston (32) slidably arranged in the power cylinder (31); wherein the displacer cylinders (21 a, b) of the displacer unit (2) are equipped with a heating wall (211) surrounding a heat source and cooling walls forming a plurality of cylinder chambers surrounding the heating wall (211); and the displacers (22 a, b) of the displacer unit (2) are slidably arranged in the plurality of cylinder chambers in the directions to approach the heat source and to separate away from the heat source. <IMAGE></p> |
