PURPOSE: A method for driving a plasma display panel is provided to improve discharge efficiency. CONSTITUTION: According to the method for driving a plasma display panel, the first sustain pulse(S1) is supplied to a scan electrode(Y). A bias voltage is applied to an address electrode(X) during a high impedance period by setting the high impedance period when the first sustain pulse increases. The second sustain pulse(S2) is supplied to the sustain electrode to be overlapped with the first sustain pulse while the first sustain pulse maintains a high level. Then, a bias voltage is induced at the address electrode during a high impedance period by setting the high impedance period when the first sustain pulse decreases. |
