PURPOSE: A method is provided to allow a user to register a variety of screens as background screens and transmit the stored screen to another user. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a step(130) of capturing a television screen by inputting a pickup key during television viewing; a step(140) of judging whether the captured television screen has a size appropriate to the background screen of the television phone; a step(160) of converting the size of the captured television screen into the appropriate size, if the size of the captured television screen is not appropriate; and a step(150) of storing the television screen having the appropriate size into a flash memory.
