<p>The invention relates to an apparatus for dispensing free-flowing material, in particular thermoplastic material, comprising a frame (2), a container (10) for receiving the material, a pump (22) connected to the container (10) for conveying the material to a connection from which free-flowing material can be dispensed, wherein the pump (22) has at least one rotatable pump element that can be driven by a rotatable drive shaft (26), and a drive motor (34) and a coupling (28) disposed between the drive shaft (26) and the drive motor (34).
