Anthaquinone dyestuffs for use with synthetic polyamide

Anthraquinone dyestuffs for dyeing/printing textile materials composed of synthetic polyamides Hal = Br or Cl; R = C3-10 alkyl or cycloalkyl; X' and X2 = alkyl; and X3 and X4 = H alkyl. In pref. dyestuffs (I), Hal = Br; R = t-butyl or t-amyl; X', X2 and X3 is in the p-position relative to the amino group. (I) give fast violet shades of high colour yield with textiles composed of synthetic polyamides. Application is by conventional methods using weakly alkaline to strongly acid baths at 98-100 deg.C, or under pressure at 110-130 deg.C.
