PURPOSE: A matrix switcher for a PCI(Personal Consumption Expenditure) card-type DVR(Digital Video Recorder) is provided to mount a device for selecting videos on a PCI slot for inserting various functional boards into a computer among various control devices for a CCTV(Closed Circuit Television), thereby lowering system cost. CONSTITUTION: A video selector(100) consists of a video signal connector(106), a video level clamp circuit(107), a video analog switcher(108), a character caption generator(109), a buffer(110), and a video output unit(111), and transmits a video signal. A microcomputer(103) receives a control signal generated from a DVR or an external apparatus, and performs various functions. A data converter(102) converts a data signal generated from the DVR and the external apparatus into a proper signal for the microcomputer(103). A group card setup switcher(104) assigns IDs to each card, and operates many matrix switcher cards. A stabilizing circuit(105) receives power, removes various noises of the power, or prevents noise from transferring to other cards.
