PURPOSE: An automatic coating apparatus of metallic thin film for electromagnetic shielding is provided to obtain coherence property and uniformed coating film of metallic thin film for electromagnetic shielding by removing static electricity using ionizer and removing fine dust using air nozzle, and a coating method thereof using the same is provided. CONSTITUTION: The automatic coating apparatus comprises a conveyor(10) repeatedly circulated along a certain transfer course; jigs(20) which are connected to an upper side of the conveyor, and on which a metallic thin film is rested; a static electricity removing chamber(30) installed on the transfer course of the conveyor and consisted of an ionizer(31) for removing static electricity of coating part of the metallic thin film rested on the jigs and an air nozzle(32) for removing fine dust; a spray chamber(40) installed on the transfer course of the conveyor and consisted of a plural sprayers(41) for coating the coating part of the metallic thin film passing through the static electricity removing chamber; a drying furnace(50) installed on the transfer course of the conveyor to dry the coating part of the metallic thin film passing through the spray chamber; supply robot(60) and discharge robot(62) installed on the transfer course of the conveyor to removably mount the metallic thin film on the jigs; and a cleaning chamber(80) for removing foreign materials using hot water(81) and cleaning mop(82) from a plural jigs from which coated metallic thin film is removed by the discharge robot.
