The shock reduction device for limiting vibrations and noises in a speed reducer (3) with an endless screw (5) and tangent wheel (6) comprises two radially elastic bushes (11,13) mounted around external bushes (12,14) of two bearings (7,8) of the endless screw. The distance between axes (E) of the endless screw and the tangent wheel is slightly greater than the corresponding distance between axes defined by the reducer casing (15) housing the screw and tangent wheel. In this way the meshing play between the teeth of the screw and the tangent wheel is cancelled.
