PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing with a seal and a ball screw device endurable against thrust, preventing slipping-out and damage of the seal in shaft directional movement, and suitable for supporting a ball screw having little resistance. SOLUTION: A single row bearing 1 has an inner race 2 and an outer race 3 having raceway surfaces 21 and 22 in the shape of dropping one of the raceway surfaces and a plurality of balls 4 rotatable between the raceway surfaces of the inner race and the outer race, and in which the inner race and outer race raceway surfaces are arranged symmetrically to the ball center 41 and the nominal contact angle of the balls with the inner race raceway surface and the outer race raceway surface exceeds 45°, and is provided with seal grooves 36 and 37 in the outside end vicinity of outer race inner diameters 34 and 35 adjacently arranged on the outer race raceway surface ends 32 and 33 and seal contact surfaces 24a and 25a in the outside end vicinity of inner race outer diameters 24 and 25 adjacently arranged on the inner race raceway surface ends 22 and 23, and installs the seal 6 of a single lip. A screw shaft 10 of the ball screw is mutually borne by a combination of a back face or a front face by sealing a lubricant by putting the seal outside by using such a bearing with the seal by two pieces.
