PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna device for a mobile communication terminal, having a structure with which the antenna device can be easily incorporated into a case. SOLUTION: The antenna device for a mobile communication terminal has a rod antenna WA which is regularly housed in the case and pulled out from the case when being used, and a built-in antenna IA which is used in a state of being attached to a carrier CR in the case, wherein the built-in antenna is used when the rod antenna is housed, and the operation is switched from the built-in antenna to the rod antenna by operating a changeover switch SW provided near the rod antenna when pulling out the rod antenna. This antenna device is provided with a holder HL having a constituent which is mounted on the rod antenna, held between the case and the carrier, operates in response to operations of housing and pulling out the rod antenna, and make the changeover switch perform switching operation; and the carrier CR engaging with a holder by being mounted on the case to hold the holder.
