PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element control circuit which controls a bias current in a simple configuration, improves image quality by speeding up the rise of optical output and restrains deterioration of image quality, such as contamination. SOLUTION: In a light-emitting element control circuit, having a light-emitting current control means 42 which performs lighting control for a light-emitting element according to input data and a bias current control means 43, which applies a bias current to the light-emitting element, the bias current is controlled by the temperature of the light-emitting element.
