PURPOSE: A method for managing a memory is provided to prevent a fatal error on error occurrence or normal operation by making an OS(Operating System) collect the dynamic memory allocation information of each task, and search a memory use capacity and address information. CONSTITUTION: If a memory allocation information request command is received from a user, the OS extracts a TID(Task ID) transmitting the memory allocation information request command(S402). The OS extracts a TCB(Task control Block) corresponding to the TID(S404). The memory allocation information of the task is extracted from the TCB by using a structure for the dynamic memory allocation(S406). The OS transmits the memory allocation information to the user(S408).
