<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wobble signals from interference generated from groups at both the sides with respect to a land track when the groups for disk rotation control and clock signal generation are wobbled in a land/group recording system optical disk having a preformat ID for every sector. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disk is of a zone format formed by splitting a disk surface into a plurality of zones depending on the radius position. In the land/group recording format optical disk, a track forming one rotation of the disk 1 comprises integer pieces of sectors. Where, the wobble having the number of specified integer cycles is added to the group in each of the sectors. The wobble in each cycle gets together the same phase between the adjacent groups in each zone. The wobble having the number of specified integer cycles is split into a plurality of unit wobble rows for each of the number of specified unit cycles; and the cycle of the wobble in the unit wobble row is modulated to express binary information related to a sector address. The binary information related to the sector address contains sector number showing the alignment order of the sectors in the track contained in each sector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
