PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fixing a post into a dental post hole of a prepared tooth or a method for fixing a crown or a bridge on the prepared tooth, and to provide an adhesive therefor. SOLUTION: The method for arranging the dental post, the crown or the bridge comprises using a self-curing cement composed of non-mixed two components, applying the first component onto the inside surface of the post hole, the crown or the bridge by using a micro-size applicator, then introducing the second component into the applied post hole, or onto the tooth surface that receives the crown or the bridge, and thereby fitting the post, the crown or the bridge to the prepared tooth. One of the components comprises a tertiary aromatic amine and the other component comprises an organic peroxide. At least one of the components or the both may comprise hydroxyethyl methacrylate, hydroxypropyl methacrylate or another hydrophilic monomer and also may comprise a thickening agent, a filler, and an additive such as a fluoride and a polymerization inhibitor.
