PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for various kinds of machinery which maintains excellent lubricating property, load resistance, abrasion resistance and seizure resistance with the simple structure reduced in the number of part items. SOLUTION: A slide-contact surface of a bush 2 is provided with an oil supply groove part 6. An area ratio of the oil supply groove part 6 in relation to the slide-contact surface of a journal shaft 1 is set at 30-90 %. Length L<SB>1</SB>in the circumferential direction between the oil supply groove parts and the inside diameter D of the bearing 2 have a relation that L<SB>1</SB><πD/36. Even in a bearing device wherein the journal shaft 1 and the bush 2 are mutually rotated in the regulated angle range or in a bearing device wherein the journal shaft 1 and the bush 2 are relatively and continuously rotated, this bearing device is effectively used, while maintaining existing dimension of the journal shaft 1 and the bush 2, to prevent a partial run-out of an oil film and a shortage of the oil film.
