PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impregnation sheet for uniformly applying a thixotropic base agent to a treating surface. SOLUTION: The impregnation sheet has a 1st fiber layer 1 containing non-shrinkable fibers and a 2nd fiber layer 2 placed adjacent to the 1st layer and containing heat-shrunk fibers. Both fiber layers are partly integrated in thickness direction through a number of junction parts 3 and the 1st fiber layer 1 is protruded between the junction parts 3 by the heat-shrinkage of the 2nd fiber layer 2 to form a number of protrusions 4. A thixotropic agent is impregnated in the obtained steric nonwoven fabric 10. The sheet is used by contacting the 1st fiber layer 1 with the treating surface. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
