PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spray coating equipment which makes a spray nozzle or coating liquid supply passage able to be washed by a simple means, can form a uniform coating film by preventing the variation of discharge pressure by a coating liquid residue etc., forms a good coating film without a defect due to the adhesion of foreign matter, and more specifically, can form a good coating film equivalent to that by a dipping method even when the whole layers or a part of the layers constituting an electrophotographic image carrier of a photosensitive material etc., are formed by a spray method, and can produce the electrophotographic image carrier which has excellent properties and can obtain good images. SOLUTION: In the spray coating equipment, the coating liquid supplied from a liquid supply passage is supplied the nozzle passage of a nozzle member and sprayed from the tip of the nozzle passage to an object.
