PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strengthen and heighten level of coordination for monitoring illegal access, and to strengthen and heighten level of coordination for access control when detecting. SOLUTION: This system is used for protecting a wide area network having a plurality of connection points to outside networks from illegal access. This system comprises a system for detecting illegal access at respective connection points and notifying warning information, a means for storing the notified warning information, a monitor for extracting access state of the network from communication contents at every connection point, and a means for storing the extracted access state. Additionally, it comprises a gate node provided to every connection point and executing access control, a system for analyzing and notifying invasion path of the detected illegal access on the basis of the stored access state and warning information, a means for generating an access control rule at the gate node on the basis of the analyzed invasion path and the warning information, and a means for distributing it to the gate node.
