PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device equipped with a connecting part for an image input part and the image input part in which erroneous mounting or damage with a connection is prevented even when a user over a wide range of ages such as a child or the aged attaches/detaches an image input unit in the image display device on which the image input unit such as a camera or a receiver is attached/detached. SOLUTION: An attaching/detaching unit 200 is provided for removably connecting an image input unit 300 to be connected with an image display unit 100 for displaying an image based upon image information for inputting image information to be displayed on the image display unit 100, and the image input unit 300 is engaged and moved to the attaching/detaching unit 200 in at least different two or more directions D1 and D2, such that image information is transmitted from the image input unit 300 to the attaching/detaching unit 200.
