PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately reproduce 2-dimensional image information from a recording medium by using holography. SOLUTION: A recording/reproducing optical system in an optical head 11 irradiates a recording medium 1 with an information light and a recording reference beam so as to record 2-dimensional image information thereon by the interference of the information light with the recording reference beam during recording. The recording/reproducing system irradiates the recording medium 1 with a reproduction reference beam to converge and detect a reproducing light emitted therefrom during reproduction. The optical information recording/reproducing device is provided with a tilt detector 95 and an image shift correction circuit 96. The tilt detector 95 detects the tilting of the recording medium 1 with respect to a specified reference position. The image shift correction circuit 96 moves a lens constituting a part of the optical system in the optical head 11 based on the output signal of the tilt detector 95 to correct a positional shift between the image of a reproducing light made incident on a solid state imaging element in the optical head, and the solid state imaging element.
