PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate various setting of the position and the shape of an object. SOLUTION: A window 40 includes a drawing display area 41 in which a created drawing is displayed, a coordinate field 42 in which the coordinates of the position of a mouse cursor are displayed, and a parameter field 43 in which the current parameters of an object to be operated on are displayed. A cursor controller 31 receives an input from a mouse 17, and controls the position of a mouse cursor 41a in the window 40. The current position of the mouse cursor 41a is notified to a coordinate field controller 32. When a command is selected through the operation of the mouse 17, the command is notified to a command processor 33 and, at the same time, the current position of the mouse cursor 41a is notified. Conversely, when coordinate information on the mouse cursor 41a is received from the coordinate field controller 32, the mouse cursor 41a moves to that position. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
