METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETERMINING TOP AND BOTTOM OF IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically relieve a burden of correcting direction of a picture by visual confirmation and manual operations by providing a method and a device which can be applied to most of photographic images in which various photographic elements can be photographed when the top and the bottom of the image are determined in the case of display and recording of the photographic image expressed by digital data. SOLUTION: The direction of the image is determined so that arrangement of a plurality of image regions associated with the various photographic elements such as the sky and the ground, etc. becomes the one reflecting positional up and down relation of the photographic elements in a real world most by referring to reference data regarding the positional up and down relation among the photographic elements in the real world.
