PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimum shape determination support system for a building and a program therefor capable of easily providing the optimum shape of the building. SOLUTION: This optimum shape determination support system for the building comprises a building model preparation means 11 setting a plurality of unit arrangement frames having positions and shapes in a space determined beforehand and preparing a building model by arranging units forming the unit formation elements of the building in some of the unit arrangement frames, an input means 14 for setting and inputting restriction conditions on the shape of the building, a determination means 11 for determining whether or not the building model prepared by the building model preparation means meets the restriction conditions inputted by the input means, and an output means 11 evaluating, with specified evaluation items, and outputting the building model determined to meet the restriction conditions by the determination means.
