<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately maintain an order of executing a plurality of jobs received in parallel through a term before or after the temporal stopping of an operation of an image forming apparatus or the releasing therefrom. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus comprises a stopping means for temporally stopping a predetermined operation in relation to the forming of an image, a releasing means for releasing from the stopping condition, a job receiving section for receiving a plurality of different jobs in parallel, and a judging section that judges whether or not a job having the priority higher than that of a first job can be started to be executed in the plurality of jobs received already, when a request for starting the execution of the first job after the stopping of the reception of a job is cancelled. The image forming apparatus further comprises a control section that holds the request for starting the execution of the first job when the execution of the second job having the priority higher than that of the first job can be started. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
