PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the measurement errors of the detected temperature of a temperature sensor without limiting the operation of a boosting circuit in a display device provided with the boosting circuit for forming a driving voltage and the temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of a display panel. SOLUTION: The temperature data of the temperature sensor which detects the temperature of a display means are acquired during the suspension of the boosting circuit which repeats the operations and the suspensions so as to output the boosted voltage of a prescribed value in which a power supply voltage is boosted as a driving voltage source. The temperature data are used as the temperature data for changing setting to a new driving condition setting value in a temperature correction means. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
