The invention relates to an improved calibration device for an antenna array or an improved antenna array, characterised by the following: for a total N of emitters (3, 3') that are provided for a column (7), whereby N is a whole number, only N/2 or fewer coupling units (111) and/or probes (11) are provided; said available number of couplers or probes (11) is assigned to on ly one section of the emitters (3, 3'); and in addition the device comprises a combination network (27, 27', 27"), which is used to connect the coupling units (111) and/or probes (11).
