<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling structure of a carbon monoxide generating furnace in which oxygen is introduced from a nozzle block disposed in the bottom plate and cokes or the like are subjected to incomplete combustion to generate carbon monoxide. <P>SOLUTION: An annular recess 22 is formed in the bottom face of the nozzle block 2 and cooling water injected from the nozzle 51 is introduced into the recess 22 to uniformly and efficiently cool the whole nozzle block 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
