<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle device for transporting equipment, in which a space for mounting/storing an extra handle is not needed in the lower part of the equipment body, that the need of installing a dedicated component in the equipment body is eliminated, and the equipment is used as a common part if the equipment has a caster. <P>SOLUTION: The engaging part 20 of the handle and the engaging part 13 of the bracket are structured such that these parts 20, 13 are unengaged with each other at the position where the engaging part and the interval of the handle are each vertically opposite to the interval and the engaging part of the bracket respectively, and that these parts are in an engaging relation by bringing the handle close to the bracket, thereby making the hole 18 of the handle fitted to the bracket 11, and then by turning the handle 15 in the circumferential direction from this fitted state.
