<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network printing system for transmitting a photographic image shot by a terminal device to a print vending machine through a network like the Internet and printing the photographic image. <P>SOLUTION: In the network printing system, terminal devices, such as portable telephones 2a, 2b, 2c, are connected to a network, such as the Internet, and a server and a print vending machine 5 are connected to the network. A photographic image shot by a terminal device is transmitted to the server and stored in a database (DB). When a user reads out the photographic image by using the print vending machine 5, a read-out indication is given to the server by the print vending machine 5, and the server reads out the stored photographic image information so that a printing process is carried out by the print vending machine 5. In this configuration, the network printing system for printing a desired photographic image is offered.
