PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance safety in the use of a portable massager. SOLUTION: In this portable massager 1, a pair of treating elements 3, which are protruded outward from an opening 1B which is formed on the top surface of a main body 1A, are symmetrically swung with inclined shafts 6 in the mutually reverse directions, respectively, so that a specific region such as a neck region, a lumbar region or a calf region can be massaged in the state of being sandwiched between the treating elements 3 on both sides; and the opening 1B is provided with a safety cover 4, so that fingers and the like can be prevented from accidentally going into the main body 1A from the opening 1B along with a fabric cover 2 or so that an electrical leak or a fire due to a failure or a short in an electric circuit can be prevented from being caused by the intrusion of a liquid such as water and a beverage, accidentally spilt on the top surface of the main body 1A, into the main body 1A.
