PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase scan system antenna array which has a simple configuration, is miniaturized and inexpensive and reduced in loss. SOLUTION: Phase shifters 5-7 for changing phases of antenna elements 1-4 are formed from impedance elements such as magnetic impedance elements or magnetic inductance elements, for example, wherein impedance components, particularly, inductance components are changed by changes of external magnetic fields, and an exciting coil is located as an external magnetism generating circuit near the phase shifters 5-7. Then, the external magnetic field is changed by controlling an electric current flowing in the exciting coil, such that the inductance component of the magnetic impedance element or the magnetic inductance element is changed to change a guide wavelength of a high frequency signal passing through a transmission line.
